Delete your account and data

Deleting from the app

1. Open welKaly and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Open Account.
4. Choose Delete account.
5. Confirm. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, emailprivacy@welkaly.com from the address associated with your account and ask for deletion. We will verify that you own the account before acting, and complete the request within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• Your profile: name, sex, date of birth, height, weight, activity level, diet, allergies and any health conditions you recorded.
• Your calorie, macronutrient and water targets.
• Every meal you logged, including the nutritional values derived from photo analysis.
• Every activity and workout you logged, and any custom exercises you created.
• All body measurements and weight history.
• Your reminder and notification settings.

What is not immediately removed

• Encrypted backups are retained for 7 days as a safeguard against data loss, then rotate out. Your data is not restored from them after a deletion request.
• Security logs may retain a record that an account existed and was deleted, where we are required to keep it.
• Meal photos are not stored after analysis in the first place, so there is nothing to delete.

How long it takes

Deletion from the app takes effect immediately. Requests made by email are completed within 30 days of us verifying your identity. Backup rotation completes within 7 days of deletion.

Before you go

Deletion is permanent: your history cannot be recovered afterwards, and creating a new account later starts from zero. If you only want a break, simply signing out keeps everything intact for when you come back.
